- Coordinate with loan officers, underwriters, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth loan processing and resolve any discrepancies or issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with TILA (Truth in Lending Act), RESPA (Real Estate Settlement Procedures Act), and other federal regulations throughout the loan process.
- Manage communication with borrowers to gather additional information or clarification needed for loan approval.
- Maintain detailed records of all loan activities, including contracts, disclosures, and processing notes, while adhering to confidentiality standards.
- Assist in mortgage servicing tasks such as escrow management and tracking loan status updates to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in mortgage processing in the broker model.
- Proficiency in basic math skills, 10-key typing, and handling contracts with precision.
- Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail to manage multiple files efficiently.
