Job Overview
Liberty 1 Lending is looking for a proactive and results-driven Recruiter to become a part of our team. The suitable candidate will oversee the complete recruitment process, from identifying candidates to assisting with onboarding new hires. This role requires a strong understanding of various recruiting techniques, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build rapport with candidates and hiring leaders. The Recruiter will play a crucial role in aligning talent acquisition strategies with the objectives of the organization.
Responsibilities
- Manage the end-to-end recruitment process including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding candidates
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of candidates through job boards, networking, referrals, social media, and industry events
- Partner with leadership to understand market needs, growth plans, and talent gaps
- Engage in cold calling and lead generation to identify potential candidates
- Maintain precise records of candidate interactions and progress within the Applicant Tracking system ADP
- Ensure adherence to employment and labor laws throughout the recruitment process
- Foster relationships with internal stakeholders to support succession planning and talent management initiatives
Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year of experience within the mortgage industry
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence hiring decisions effectively
- Highly driven, persuasive, and self-motivated with excellent communication skills
- Familiarity with HR sourcing techniques and employee relations practices
- Ability to conduct research on industry trends to enhance recruitment strategies
- Experience in managing social media for employer branding purposes is an advantage
- Ability to work independently while managing priorities and meeting goals
