LHH is working with a global leader in the manufacturing of attachments, forks, masts, and related technologies for forklifts and AGVs, who is looking for a Territory Sales Manager to join their team in Columbus, OH. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of technical sales experience, specifically in forklifts or hydraulics, and be okay with owning the states of OH, PA, and KY as their territory. This is a remote position, but the candidate will preferably live in Columbus, OH and travel throughout OH, PA and KY.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales plan for the assigned territory, including revenue and growth targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with dealers, OEMs, and end-user customers.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for attachment-related issues, particularly those involving hydraulics.
- Conduct customer and dealer training on products and applications.
- Gather market intelligence and communicate customer feedback to internal teams.
- Collaborate with regional and national leadership to achieve territory goals.
- Monitor customer and market dynamics to stay current on trends and competitive pressures.
- Travel extensively within OH, PA, and KY.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- 3 years of sales experience, preferably in forklift attachments, material handling, or heavy industrial equipment.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, especially with hydraulics.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP/CRM systems.
