Our client is a large partnership that is hiring for a Tax Manager to join their team. The organization is highly successful and stable and in need of a talented tax leader to add value to the organization. You will be involved in mostly domestic tax planning and reporting for the business as well as handling tax work for high net worth family members. This is an excellent opportunity to join a large, stable company that will allow you to impact and improve their tax infrastructure. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a salary in the range of $150,000 - $180,000 plus bonus, an excellent benefit package and a desirable work/life balance. They are in the office 2 days a week with an extra day or two on occasion.
Responsibilities of the Manager of Tax include:
- In-house preparation of company/partnership tax filings
- Assess and develop tax accounting processes and procedures
- Report to executive management on current and forecasted tax status
- Work closely with outside tax firm on their review of filings
- Stay on top of any new pronouncements and adjust procedures accordingly
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Masters in Tax preferable
- Ten or more years of public tax accounting
- Experience in tax reporting for both business and high net worth individuals
- CPA required
