Job Title: Temporary Tax Support Specialist
Location: East Hanover, NJ - Hybrid – Onsite at least 3 days per week (Mondays required)
Schedule: Standard hours, 8:30 AM – 5:15 PM
Contract Duration: Minimum 3 months (potential for extension; full-time conversion possible but not guaranteed)
Start Date: ASAP
Pay Rate: (Pay $28.00 - $40.00)
Overview
LHH is seeking (2) Temporary Tax Support Specialists to assist our client’s Accounting and Finance team with administrative tasks and light tax-related support. These roles are designed to relieve senior team members of routine administrative duties and provide flexibility during a busy period.
Responsibilities
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail
- Scan and organize documents
- Manage phone calls and fax communications
- Draft letters and correspondence
- Support basic administrative functions for the tax and accounting team
Requirements
- Preferred: Some background in tax or accounting (CPA not required)
- Familiarity with local, state, or federal tax concepts
- Strong communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (training provided for internal systems)
- Ability to work onsite at least 3 days per week, including Mondays
- Eagerness to learn and adapt to new processes
