Key Responsibilities
- Sales Tax: Prepare and file sales tax returns, manage sales tax audits, and ensure compliance with sales tax regulations across various jurisdictions.
- Property Tax: Assist in the preparation and filing of property tax returns, manage property tax assessments and appeals, and ensure timely payment of property taxes.
- Conduct tax research and stay updated on new tax laws and regulations.
- Assist in the preparation of tax provisions and related financial statement disclosures.
- Provide support during tax audits and respond to tax authorities' inquiries.
- Collaborate with other departments to gather necessary information for tax filings and ensure accuracy in the reporting process.
- Maintain organized records and documentation for all tax-related activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of tax laws and regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
