What are the responsibilities and job description for the Talent Acquisition Specialist position at LHH?
LHH is partnering with a well-established financial services company in the Baltimore area to identify a Talent Acquisition Specialist for a long-term temporary assignment through December 2026. This position will play a key role in supporting talent acquisition efforts across corporate and operational teams and is expected to start immediately. The role requires a fully onsite schedule, Monday through Friday.
The ideal candidate brings strong recruiting coordination and sourcing experience, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Prior experience within financial services, banking, or another highly regulated industry is strongly preferred.
Location: Baltimore, MD (Fully Onsite – 5 Days per Week)
Duration: Immediate start through December 2026, with possible extension
Compensation: $27–$36/hour, depending on experience
Responsibilities
- Support end-to-end recruitment activities for a variety of professional and operational positions
- Partner with hiring managers to gather hiring needs, align on candidate qualifications, and support recruitment strategy
- Source qualified candidates through LinkedIn, job boards, referrals, and internal talent pipelines
- Conduct initial candidate outreach and phone screenings
- Coordinate interviews and maintain communication between candidates and hiring teams throughout the process
- Manage and update candidate information within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Ensure a seamless and positive candidate experience from application through onboarding
- Assist with recruiting reports, hiring metrics, and additional talent acquisition projects as needed
Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in recruiting, talent acquisition, or recruiting coordination
- Experience supporting high-volume or full-cycle recruiting processes preferred
- Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems and recruiting platforms
- Strong communication, multitasking, and organizational abilities
- Ability to work onsite in Baltimore, MD five days per week
- Experience within financial services, banking, or corporate environments preferred
- Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required
