LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with an organization in Overland Park on an exciting Senior Compensation Analyst search. We are seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst to join a growing HR team. This is a newly created position due to organizational growth and increased demand for compensation expertise. This role will play a critical part in supporting compensation programs, analytics, and strategic initiatives, including job architecture and global compensation efforts. The ideal candidate brings strong technical expertise, analytical rigor, and the ability to partner effectively with stakeholders across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and analyze data from market-based compensation surveys to assess competitiveness and trends
- Review compensation actions within Workday to ensure internal equity and alignment with job leveling
- Support administration of annual and mid-year merit cycles
- Assist with building and evolving job architecture, including job families, leveling, and salary ranges
- Participate in the consolidation and standardization of job titles across the organization
- Conduct regulatory audits and reporting (e.g., FLSA, OFCCP)
- Manage compensation tools (including Payfactors), including data updates, user support, and troubleshooting
- Partner with HR Business Partners and business leaders to provide compensation guidance and support
- Perform data integrity audits and maintain high-quality compensation data
- Respond to and resolve compensation-related inquiries
- Participate in salary surveys and benchmark analysis
- Support compensation plan administration and provide ad hoc reporting and analysis
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Human Resources, or related field
- 7 years of compensation analyst experience (less experience considered for non-senior level)
- Strong experience with Workday (advanced compensation module preferred)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (pivot tables, complex formulas, lookup functions, etc.)
- Experience analyzing and summarizing large data sets
- Experience supporting annual merit and compensation cycles
- Exposure to or experience with global compensation programs
- Experience with Payfactors or similar compensation tools, preferred
- Experience with commission or incentive plan administration, preferred
- Exposure to job architecture design (job families, leveling, salary structures), preferred
