Senior Business Analyst – Supply Chain (Planning & Scheduling)

We’re partnering with a growing organization seeking a Senior Business Analyst – Supply Chain to own and optimize production planning and scheduling capabilities across a dynamic, multi-site environment.

This role is highly impactful, acting as the bridge between operations, supply chain leadership, and IT, while driving improvements across Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Power Platform solutions.

What You’ll Do

Planning & Scheduling Ownership

• Own end-to-end planning and scheduling processes, including workflows, system behavior, data models, controls, and reporting
• Serve as the single point of accountability for planning systems within Dynamics 365 and integrated Power Apps
• Ensure alignment between system capabilities and operational needs across sites

Business Analysis & Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as the primary liaison between operations teams, supply chain leadership, and technical delivery teams
• Lead requirements gathering, process design, and workflow optimization initiatives
• Drive standardization and consistency across business units

Systems & Technology (D365 Power Platform)

• Support and enhance solutions built on Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations preferred)
• Leverage Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI) to drive automation and reporting
• Advocate for system simplicity, minimizing unnecessary customization

Optimization, Automation & Innovation

• Identify and implement improvements in planning, scheduling, and production processes
• Support automation initiatives and emerging AI-driven capabilities
• Ensure scalability, usability, and long-term system sustainability

What We’re Looking For

Must-Have Experience

• 7 years of experience as a Business Analyst or similar role supporting supply chain or manufacturing systems
• Strong hands-on experience with Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations preferred)
• Practical experience with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI)
• Demonstrated ownership of planning, scheduling, or production control functions
• Strong process design, documentation, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively across both business and technical teams

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in manufacturing environments (steel, heavy manufacturing, or capital-intensive industries)
• Background in production planning, capacity planning, or finite scheduling
• Exposure to AI-assisted planning, forecasting, or decision-support tools
