System Analyst

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Network & Industrial Systems Analyst in Ponca City, OK. Ideal candidates will have experience with networking infrastructure and operational technology environments. This individual will serve as a key contributor in evaluating business needs, improving technology processes, and delivering reliable solutions that support both office and production operations.

Type: Direct Hire/Permanent

Location: Ponca City, OK (100% on-site)

Compensation will vary upon experience:

• Entry: $65,000 - $85,000 annual
• Mid: $95,000 - $115,000 annual
• Senior: $120,000 - $130,000 annual

Job Description: o

• Partner with business leaders, production teams, engineering personnel, and operational stakeholders to understand system requirements.
• Evaluate current processes and identify opportunities for technology optimization.
• Gather, document, and validate functional, technical, and operational requirements.
• Translate business objectives into practical technical specifications and solution designs.
• Analyze process improvements that enhance operational efficiency and system performance.
• Develop and maintain network architecture documentation, standards, and connectivity requirements.
• Support initiatives involving industrial automation, controls integration, and plant-floor communications.
• Document data exchange processes, system interfaces, alerts, and automation workflows.
• Assist with the implementation of secure and scalable network designs.
• Ensure systems comply with cybersecurity practices, operational standards, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, system integrators, and engineering resources during project execution.
• Develop testing strategies and validation procedures for new solutions.
• Conduct integration testing, user acceptance testing, and system verification activities.
• Confirm implemented solutions meet operational, business, and reliability expectations.
• Assist during deployment, startup, and post-implementation support activities.
• Troubleshoot systems, networking, and connectivity issues across enterprise and operational environments.
• Analyze root causes and recommend corrective actions.
• Monitor performance of systems and network infrastructure to improve uptime and reliability.
• Support backup, disaster recovery, software updates, and maintenance activities.
• Participate in infrastructure enhancement and modernization efforts.
• Assist with administration of enterprise systems, servers, user accounts, and endpoint devices.
• Maintain technology inventories, system configurations, and technical documentation.
• Coordinate issue resolution efforts with internal teams and third-party vendors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Automation, Information Systems, or a related discipline is helpful but not required
• Three to five years of experience supporting technology systems, infrastructure, automation, or business systems environments.
• Experience working with enterprise applications, databases, network technologies, and systems integrations.
• Exposure to manufacturing, operational technology, industrial networking, or automation systems preferred.
• Familiarity with software development methodologies, testing procedures, and project delivery frameworks.
• Experience supporting both corporate IT and production-focused environments is highly desirable.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience gathering and documenting complex business and technical requirements.
• Knowledge of network infrastructure concepts including TCP/IP, routing, switching, segmentation, and security.
• Understanding of industrial automation technologies and connected equipment environments.
• Experience working with SQL and relational databases.
