Sr. Cost Analyst

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently recruiting a Senior Cost Analyst for our client in Tulsa, OK. This direct hire opportunity is onsite.

We are seeking an applicant with a strong cost systems background and excellent data analytics skills. This role will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial reports, as well as performing month-end closures and account reconciliations. The role requires at least 2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare cost analysis and financial reports timely and accurately
• Conduct detailed inventory account analysis
• Maintain cost accounting for materials and analyze manufacturing costs
• Perform GL account reconciliations
• Manage month end closing activities
• Review cost center expenses and maintain records of receipts and disbursements
• Participate in audits
• Assist with annual and monthly forecasting
• Post journal entries and inventory adjustments

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting required
• At least 5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
• Good understanding of General Accounting and Cost Accounting principles
• Understanding of manufacturing operations, inventory management, and product costing
• SAP or ERP systems experience preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
• Demonstrate accuracy and thoroughness of analysis reports and complete work in timely manner
• Strong Excel, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office suite skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

The anticipated salary range for this position is between $70,000 and $90,000.
