LHH is partnering with a well-established CPA firm in South Minneapolis seeking a Tax Manager to join its leadership team. This is a unique opportunity for an experienced tax professional who is interested in more than just preparing and reviewing tax returns. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to build client relationships, help shape the direction of the firm, and pursue a clearly defined path to partnership and ownership.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and review complex tax returns including: Forms 1040, 1120-S, 1065 & 1041
- Serve as a trusted advisor to business owners and individual clients
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships
- Provide tax planning and consulting guidance
- Review staff work and mentor junior team members
- Assist with business development and client growth initiatives
- Collaborate directly with firm leadership on operational and strategic initiatives
- Support succession planning and future ownership responsibilities
Qualifications
- Active CPA license required
- 3 years of public accounting tax experience
- Experience serving closely held businesses and high-net-worth clients preferred
- Strong knowledge of individual, partnership, S-Corporation, and trust taxation
- Experience with Lacerte and QuickBooks preferred
- Excellent client-facing communication skills
- Interest in firm leadership and long-term ownership opportunities
Compensation: $100,000-150,000
