Supply Chain SpecialistEmployment Type: Full-TimeLength: 3 Month ContractWe are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Logistics & Supply Chain Specialist to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring seamless transportation operations, carrier performance, and data-driven decision-making to support business objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesManage day-to-day relationships with five transportation carriers, including regular performance check-ins.Collaborate with distribution centers and retail partners to ensure carriers provide adequate equipment and meet execution standards.Monitor carrier tracking feeds accurate and timely data transmission into internal systems, enabling reliable performance analysis.Track forecast accuracy, review carrier KPI dashboards, identify trends, and escalate areas of concern during peak periods.Deliver proactive reporting and insights to leadership to ensure successful peak execution.Required Skills & Qualifications3 years of experience in logistics or supply chain operations; experience in omni-channel retail, parcel fulfillment, demand planning, or distribution preferred.Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed recommendations.Familiarity with vendor management practices.Demonstrated business acumen and sound judgment in problem-solving and opportunity identification.Effective communication and collaboration skills, with experience working cross-functionally.Curious, adaptable, and proactive in driving continuous improvement and innovation.Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel; experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Sigma.Pay Details: $30.00 to $35.00 per hourSearch managed by: Gerald Morales Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
