We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee day-to-day field operations for high-end residential and commercial construction projects in the Delray Beach area. The ideal candidate has strong subcontractor management skills, understands all phases of construction, and takes pride in delivering a high-quality finished product.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily construction activities and oversee all field operations.
- Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and trades.
- Review plans, specifications, and construction documents.
- Maintain project schedules and ensure work stays on track.
- Monitor quality, workmanship, and adherence to project specifications.
- Coordinate inspections, deliveries, and jobsite logistics.
- Identify and resolve field issues and coordinate with the Project Manager, architects, engineers, and clients.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and professional jobsite.
- Track project progress and provide daily updates.
- Manage punch list, closeout, and final turnover activities.
Qualifications
- 5 years of construction Superintendent experience.
- Strong knowledge of construction practices and sequencing.
- Experience managing multiple subcontractors and trades.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction documents.
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills.
- Experience with high-end residential, custom homes, commercial, hospitality, or country club construction is highly preferred.
- Experience with concrete, framing, masonry, MEP, and interior finishes is a plus.
- Procore or other construction management software experience preferred.
- OSHA certification is a plus.
- Ability to work primarily in the Delray Beach/Palm Beach County area.
Salary : $130,000 - $170,000
