Title: Senior Manager of Paralegal Services
$135K–$175K | U.S. (Hybrid)
A nationally recognized law firm is seeking an experienced Manager of Paralegal Services to oversee firmwide paralegal and docketing operations.
Location / Schedule
- Washington, DC
- In-office Tuesday–Thursday initially (flexibility after onboarding)
Compensation
- $135,000–$175,000 base salary
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage ~15 paralegals and docketing professionals across offices
- Oversee evaluations, compensation benchmarking, and career progression
- Implement workflow, utilization, and workload tracking systems
- Manage docketing processes, risk management, and compliance
- Partner with practice leaders on staffing and operational needs
- Track and report on productivity, utilization, and profitability
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and paralegal certification (or ability to obtain within 6 months)
- 6–10 years paralegal experience; 3 years in management
- Experience managing multi-office teams and operational systems
- Strong leadership, communication, and legal technology skills
