What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Manager of Accounting position at LHH?
Our client is hiring for their Richmond, VA office and are seeking an experienced Accounting leader with the desire to work “hands-on”. This Senior Manager of Accounting role has autonomy and the advantage of interacting directly with the CFO. This is a hybrid arrangement and suggests 2 days a week in the office.
Duties:
- Responsible for full scope of accounting responsibilities, including GL Accounting, AP/AR, etc.
- Financial reporting for parent entity and ad hoc analysis.
- Work closely with CFO on critical projects and strategy.
- Budgeting, forecasting, and analysis.
Qualifications:
- 9 plus years of progressive accounting experience.
- Public accounting experience highly preferred.
- Strong command of Excel and other tools.
- Solid communication skills.
- Experience with a “transaction based” company highly preferred.
