Senior Manager – Financial Reporting & Corporate Accounting
Location: Downtown Chicago (Loop) – Close to train
Work Schedule: 3 days a week in office hybrid
Compensation: $150,000–$180,000 base 20% bonus potential

Position Overview
This strategic leadership role will oversee SEC reporting, global consolidations, corporate accounting, and technical accounting. You will lead a high-performing team, drive compliance and accuracy across financial reporting processes, and partner closely with senior executives and accounting leadership on critical disclosures and earnings communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead preparation and filing of SEC reports (Forms 10-Q, 10-K, earnings releases)
- Oversee global consolidations and corporate accounting for multiple entities
- Manage technical accounting reviews, including new standards and complex transactions
- Ensure SOX compliance and maintain robust internal controls
- Serve as primary liaison with external auditors, legal counsel, and internal stakeholders
- Present consolidated financial results and insights to senior leadership
- Develop and mentor a team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability
Qualifications
- 8 years of experience in public accounting and/or corporate SEC reporting
- CPA required
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP, SEC regulations, and SOX compliance
- Experience with global consolidations and technical accounting
- Proven leadership skills with ability to influence executive stakeholders
- Familiarity with Active Disclosure or similar SEC filing tools
