Senior HR Generalist – Employee Relations & Payroll
Greater New York City | Fully Onsite | Temp-to-Perm
LHH is seeking a Senior HR Generalist on behalf of a client in the New York City area. This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional with a strong background in employee relations, payroll support, and day-to-day HR operations within a fast-paced environment.
The Senior HR Generalist will partner closely with leadership and employees to support HR initiatives, resolve employee matters, maintain compliance, and assist with payroll processing and administration.
Key Responsibilities:
• Manage employee relations matters and provide HR guidance to staff and management
• Support payroll processing, timekeeping, and payroll-related inquiries
• Assist with onboarding, employee documentation, and compliance
• Maintain HR records and ensure policy adherence
• Partner cross-functionally to support daily HR operations
Qualifications:
• 4 years of HR Generalist experience
• Strong employee relations experience required
• Payroll processing/support experience required
• Knowledge of HR compliance and employment practices
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
