What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accountant position at LHH?
LHH Recruitment Solutions’ (pka Parker Lynch) is working with a banking institution near North Vernon looking for a Senior Accountant. This role is open due to promotion and is a trusted previous client of ours. This This will be a GL and reporting focused role land will have further future opportunity for growth and will report to the Controller.
Responsibilities:
- Financial Statements
- GL Maintenance
- Cash Management
- Reconciliations
- Assistance with AP
- Journal Entries
- Ensure Separation of Duties
- Develop/Maintain Departmental Relationships
- Process Improvement
- Regulatory Reporting
- Budgeting & Forecasting
- Internal Controls Management
Qualifications:
- 3 years’ GL accounting experience required, ideally at a banking institution
- CPA preferred
- Foundation in public accounting preferred
