What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Accountant position at LHH?
Our client has a unique business model and offers the ambitious candidate an opportunity to grow and take on increasing responsibilities. The working arrangement is in the office with the opportunity to work from home once a week. They are adding a Senior Accountant, due to growth!
The ideal candidate will have substantial exposure to monthly closing processes, forecasting and budgeting, and be comfortable with a variety of systems. They will be organized and approach each issue with an analytical mindset.
Responsibilities
- Ensure business transactions are reported in accordance with generally accepted accounting
principles
- Oversee and review AP workflow
- Spearhead process improvement and departmental documentation process
- Work closely with team members to assist with the month-end close
- Journal entries, reconciliations and special projects
· Qualifications
· 3 years of professional accounting experience
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, experience
· CPA a plus
Salary is flexible depending on experience.
