Senior Accountant - Addison, TX - Hybrid (100k-105k + Bonus)

LHH is seeking a Senior Accountant for a growing healthcare organization with a collaborative, fast-paced environment and an expanding operational footprint. This is an opportunity for an experienced accounting professional to take ownership of core accounting processes, financial reporting, month-end close, and audit and tax support while partnering across Finance and Operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and experience working in a growth-oriented or multi-entity environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead the month-end and quarter-end close processes, ensuring accurate, timely, and GAAP-compliant financial results.
• Review journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses to ensure financial data integrity.
• Prepare and analyze consolidated financial statements for management and external stakeholders.
• Identify and implement improvements to accounting and close processes to increase efficiency and accelerate reporting timelines.
• Manage payroll accounting, including reconciliation of payroll-related General Ledger accounts.
• Record and reconcile payroll journal entries, benefits accruals, bonuses, and payroll tax liabilities.
• Support external audit preparation and coordinate with auditors and tax advisors.
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure compliance with applicable accounting policies and U.S. GAAP.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 5 years of progressive accounting experience, including public accounting or external audit experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls.
• Demonstrated experience supporting external audits and working with tax advisors.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and experience with mid-to-large-scale ERP systems.
• Sage Intacct experience is a plus.
