What are the responsibilities and job description for the Quality Assurance Manager position at LHH?
A growing manufacturing operation is looking for a Quality Manager to lead a team responsible for ensuring product quality from raw materials through final production. This role plays a key part in supporting customers, guiding PPAP activities, and driving root-cause investigations for quality issues in the field.
What You’ll Do
• Lead and mentor a team of quality professionals
• Maintain and improve quality processes, procedures, and standards
• Champion initiatives that support operational excellence
• Oversee product release decisions
• Manage the review and disposition of non‑conforming materials
• Drive continuous improvement across the ISO‑based Quality Management System
• Support supplier qualification activities
• Lead investigations into customer quality concerns
• Manage all documentation requirements for PPAP and SPAP submissions
What We’re Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree
• 5 years of experience in manufacturing environments
• 5 years in a leadership or management role
• Background in metal manufacturing is a strong plus
• Proven history of leading change and improving quality performance
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and experience developing structured quality programs
• Familiarity with fixturing, CMM equipment, and functional measurement methods
Salary Range: $110,000-$120,000
