LHH has partnered with an established organization in North County who’s seeking a detail-oriented Procurement Specialist to support accounting and operations across multiple departments. This role plays a key part in ensuring goods and services are sourced efficiently, cost-effectively, and in alignment with internal processes. Responsibilities of this procurement role include:
- Manage end-to-end procurement activities, including purchase requisitions, vendor selection, and order placement
- Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure competitive pricing, quality, and service levels
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to understand purchasing needs and timelines
- Track and monitor purchase orders, deliveries, and inventory levels to support operational efficiency
- Maintain accurate procurement records, documentation, and reporting
- Support contract negotiations and vendor agreements to optimize cost savings
- Ensure compliance with internal purchasing policies and approval workflows
- Build and maintain strong vendor relationships while resolving any supply or service issues
Minimum requirements:
- 3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing
- Working knowledge of purchase orders, vendor coordination, and sourcing processes
- Strong analytical and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate across departments
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP or purchasing systems
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a high-volume environment
