Are you detail-obsessed and passionate about making sure every paycheck is perfect? LHH is seeking a Payroll Audit Coordinator for a long-term contract opportunity in Columbus, OH to help ensure our client’s workforce gets paid accurately and on time—every time.
As a Payroll Coordinator, you’ll be the first line of defense against payroll errors. You’ll review timesheet data for inconsistencies, investigate exceptions, and work with internal teams to gather the correct information needed to resolve issues quickly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Review employee timesheets for errors, omissions, and exceptions
Investigate and resolve discrepancies by collecting accurate data from managers and employees
Ensure compliance with company policies and payroll procedures
Collaborate with HR and Finance to ensure smooth payroll processing
Maintain accurate records and documentation for audit and reporting purposes
Support payroll processing cycles and assist with special projects as needed
Qualifications:
2 years of corporate Payroll experience
Experience auditing timesheet data preferred but not required
Experience reviewing large sets of data in MS Excel
Experience with payroll systems and timekeeping software (preferred)
Prior experience in a payroll or data auditing role is a plus
Pay Details: $23.00 to $26.00 per hour
