What are the responsibilities and job description for the Patient Account Rep position at LHH?
Patient Account Rep LHH Recruitment Solutions is assisting our healthcare client with a Patient Account Rep position in the Tacoma area. This role will be a full-time, contract position and 100% onsite. This role will be focused specifically on patient account and collections, helping to answer billing inquiries and questions, following up on account balances and collecting outstanding debt as owed by the patients. This position will also be assisting with backend AR duties including analyzing/correcting/resubmitting denied claims. Interested candidates must feel comfortable with phone correspondence and be able to meet deadlines.Requirements

The Company will consider qualified applicants with arrest and conviction records in accordance with federal, state, and local laws and/or security clearance requirements, including, as applicable:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years medical billing/revenue cycle/backend AR experience
- Must feel comfortable working within EMR Systems and Microsoft Office
- Excellent written and verbal communciation skills, especially over the phone
- Strong ability to analyze and problem-solve independently
- Can work well in a fast-paced environment and meet production expectations as outlined by management
- Able to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Ability to de-escalate situations as needed and be compassionate towards others
- Knowledge and understanding of insurance payers and can read and interpret EOBs
