Job Summary:
LHH is currently recruiting for a law firm in the Plantation area. We are seeking a certified FL paralegal to support the law firm's construction litigation practice area. If you have 5 years of complex litigation including trial attendance and support, please apply!
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and prepare exhibits and appendices for filings, depositions, hearings, arbitrations, and trials
- Set up and manage war rooms for trial and arbitration proceedings
- Assist attorneys during depositions, hearings, and trials
- Draft legal documents including subpoenas, summonses, memoranda, and routine correspondence
- Conduct factual and legal research, locate witnesses, and trace documents or evidence
- Collaborate with attorneys, litigation support, IT, and administrative staff
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of procedural rules, e-filing processes, and e-discovery protocols
Requirements:
- Proficiency with litigation support tools such as Relativity, CaseMap, LiveNote, and Trial Director
- Paralegal certificate or relevant degree is required
- Strong trial preparation and courtroom experience
- Strong experience in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel
