About the Role
We’re seeking a skilled and innovative Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role involves designing, analyzing, and improving mechanical systems and components across diverse industries including manufacturing, HVAC, automotive, aerospace, and industrial automation.
Responsibilities
- Design mechanical components and systems using CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD).
- Perform FEA, thermal, and fluid dynamics simulations to validate designs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams in R&D, manufacturing, and quality assurance.
- Support prototype development, testing, and product launch activities.
- Create and maintain technical documentation including BOMs, specs, and test reports.
- Drive continuous improvement in design and production processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 5 years of experience in mechanical design, product development, or systems engineering.
- Proficiency in CAD tools, engineering analysis software, and design for manufacturability.
- Strong understanding of materials science, mechanical systems, and manufacturing processes.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills
- HVAC and piping systems: Experience designing and optimizing heating, cooling, and fluid transport systems.
- Precision machining: Familiarity with CNC processes, tolerancing, and surface finish requirements.
- ISO standards & regulatory compliance: Understanding of ISO 9001, ASME, and other industry-specific standards.
- Lean Six Sigma: Exposure to process improvement methodologies, root cause analysis, and waste reduction.
- Automation & robotics: Knowledge of actuators, sensors, and control systems used in automated environments.
- Mechatronics: Integration of mechanical, electrical, and software systems in product design.
- Thermal & fluid analysis: Use of simulation tools for heat transfer, fluid flow, and pressure drop calculations.
- Sustainable design: Awareness of energy-efficient materials and eco-friendly engineering practices.
