What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marketing and Proposal Coordinator position at LHH?
We are partnering with our Federal Way, WA engineering and construction client to recruit a Marketing and Proposal Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis, set to be hybrid and in the office 3-4 days per week. In this role, you will be responsible for contributing to the proposal and new business development processes for the firm with the goal of creating new opportunity and streamlining operations for the team. You will review qualifications and partner closely with marketing leadership to assemble winning proposals, documentation, presentations and similar materials. You will own tracking for these proposals and the pipeline of potential work, ensuring requirements and timelines are met and aligned. While much of this work is focused on driving new business and the proposal process, you will also play a critical role in building the company’s brand from a traditional marketing perspective. You will support social media campaigns, outreach initiatives, website content updates and communications, working consistently across the organization to align messaging for prospective clients, current clients and staff. To be a fit, you should bring 1 year of marketing and/or proposal experience, with a strong preference for experience in architecture, engineering or construction spaces. Adobe Creative Suite skills (InDesign most critically) are a must, along with CRM knowledge. Candidates with additional experience in email marketing, social media, website content or similar tools are encouraged to apply!
This is a unique role that blends the proposal and BD work with some traditional marketing aspects, which will allow you to help own the company’s brand and image outside of the traditional pursuits process! Compensation ranges from $75,000 to $90,000 annually, and benefits are excellent, including low-cost medical, dental and vision insurance, matching 401(K), two weeks of PTO and a huge focus on culture and collaboration. If you’re looking to further your proposal and BD skills but also enjoy the traditional marketing space, this might be a fit!
You will:
- Support the proposal and new business development processes for the firm, collecting information and aligning requirements, conducting research, writing, designing and managing timelines to ensure and maximize opportunity
- Partner closely with marketing and company leadership to assemble winning proposals, documentation, presentations and similar materials, ensuring alignment in messaging
