LHH is seeking a Commercial Litigation Paralegal for a reputable and growing law firm in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative team supporting complex commercial litigation matters across state and federal courts.
Responsibilities
- Support attorneys throughout all phases of commercial litigation, from inception through trial
- Draft, review, and format legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests/responses, and correspondence
- Manage discovery processes, including document collection, organization, and production
- Coordinate case calendars, deadlines, hearings, depositions, and mediations
- Prepare deposition summaries, trial binders, exhibits, and witness materials
- Conduct legal and factual research to support case strategy
- Maintain and organize case files (physical and electronic)
- Communicate with clients, experts, court personnel, and opposing counsel
Qualifications
- 4 years of commercial litigation paralegal experience
- Strong knowledge of Florida state and federal court procedures and e-filing systems
- Experience managing complex, document-intensive litigation matters
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and legal research tools (Westlaw, LexisNexis, etc.)
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
