What are the responsibilities and job description for the Litigation Legal Assistant position at LHH?
LHH Recruitment Solutions, in partnership with a law firm in Roseland, NJ is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to join their team.
This position is fully onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Drafting legal documents and correspondence
- Maintaining files
- Electronically filing documents with State and Federal courts including NJ, NY, and CT
- Managing calendars
- Scheduling meetings and depositions
- Preparing trial documents
- Corresponding with clients
- Providing general administrative support
Requirements:
- 4 years of recent litigation assistant experience
- Experience with probate litigation preferred
- Bachelor’s Degree and/or Paralegal Certificate preferred
- E-filing experience in NJ required; NY and CT is a plus
- Strong MS Office knowledge
- Excellent communication skills
- Very organized
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Compensation
The anticipated salary range for this position is $75,000-$90,000 per year depending on experience, education, and other job-related factors.
