Litigation Assistant | NYC (Hybrid 4:1)
LHH has partnered with a well-established law firm in NYC looking to add a Litigation Legal Assistant to their team on a temp to hire or permanent basis. This is a great opportunity to support a busy litigation practice and be involved in all aspects of the litigation lifecycle.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting attorneys with pleadings, discovery, and court filings (NYSCEF & ECF/PACER)
- Assisting with trial prep, depositions, and hearing materials
- Managing attorney calendars (Compulaw & Outlook)
- Handling document prep, redlining, proofreading, and formatting
- Supporting billing, time entry, and general legal assistant duties
What they’re looking for:
- 4 years of law firm with commercial litigation experience
- Strong knowledge of State & Federal court procedures
- Experience with NYSCEF & ECF/PACER e-filing
- Advanced document processing skills required (TOCs, TOAs, formatting, redlining, etc.)
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Details:
- Full-time - 37.5 hours/week
- Hybrid (4 days in-office, 1 remote – flexibility required)
- $30–35/hour or $90K–$100K depending on experience
- Open to direct hire for the right candidate or temp-to-hire
