What are the responsibilities and job description for the Legal Office Assistant position at LHH?

LHH is currently partnering with a well-known law firm in the Reston, VA area to hire a Temporary Office Assistant to support their growing team. This full-time, onsite role is expected to last around two months and is an excellent opportunity for someone detail-oriented looking to gain experience in a professional legal setting.

Location: Reston, VA (Onsite, 5 days/week)

Duration: Approximately 2 months

Hourly Pay: $21–$23/hour, based on experience

Key Responsibilities

  • Accurately organize, scan, and file documents
  • Assist with mail distribution and general clerical tasks
  • Perform light legal administrative duties (training will be provided)
  • Handle typing, formatting, and data entry with a high level of accuracy
  • Provide administrative support to attorneys and other staff as needed

Qualifications

  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Proficient in typing and general computer use
  • Ability to manage time effectively and handle sensitive information
  • Professional demeanor and clear communication skills
  • Prior administrative experience or relevant internship strongly preferred

Pay Details: $21.00 to $23.00 per hour
