LHH Recruitment Solutions (pka Parker Lynch) is partnering with a large consumer services firm looking for a Lead Financial Reporting Accountant. This position is open due to promotion and will focus on consolidations, financial analysis, GL accounting, and be a liaison between the Manager and Staff/Seniors.

Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Lead consolidation activities across multiple entities and business units
- Manage month-end and quarter-end close processes to ensure timely and accurate reporting
- Perform general ledger accounting activities, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analysis
- Analyze financial results and provide management with actionable insights regarding business performance
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning processes
- Prepare management reporting packages, dashboards, and key performance indicator reporting
- Partner with operational and finance leadership to evaluate trends, risks, and opportunities
- Assist with external audit requests and preparation of supporting schedules
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, reporting efficiency, and data accuracy
- Support intercompany accounting activities and reconciliations
- Utilize financial systems and advanced Excel tools to streamline reporting and analysis
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 5 years of progressive accounting and financial reporting experience
- Foundation in large public accounting/audit preferred
- Strong background in consolidations, financial reporting, and general ledger accounting
- Experience supporting month-end and year-end close activities
- Experience working with ERP systems and financial reporting tools
- CPA designation preferred but not required
