Entry Level Accountant – Onsite (Baltimore, MD)Salary: $55,000–$65,000/year

Who We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- 1–5 years of accounting experience or strong accounting internships
- Construction accounting experience is a plus, but not required
- Self-starter with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Able to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks
- Strong communication skills with all personality types
- Detail-oriented and accurate in your work
- Fluent in English
- Must have reliable transportation
What You’ll Do:
- Collaborate with Project Managers to track contracts and budgets
- Monitor contract modifications and report on project costs
- Analyze variances in labor, materials, and administrative expenses
- Close jobs and reconcile job cost ledger to balance sheet and income statement
- Prepare bank draws and work with lenders
- Create and submit progress billings to clients
- Review accounts receivable bi-weekly and follow up on payment status
- Ensure invoices are coded correctly with job information
- Assist with audit questions from corporate accounting
- Record journal entries
Bonus Points For:
- Knowledge of commercial construction management or industry trends
- Familiarity with revenue recognition principles
- Experience with Yardi Job Cost software
