Job Summary
The Director of Internal Audit is responsible for overseeing the organization's audit functions to ensure compliance with governance and regulatory standards. This role involves planning and executing audits related to operational and regulatory compliance, reporting findings to executive management, and collaborating with various departments to improve coding practices.
Even Simpler: You will lead a team that checks if the company is following rules correctly and report your findings to the bosses. You will also work with other departments to make sure everyone understands how they should be coding things.
Company Details
Large and stable healthcare organization. Working across the company, up to the executive team. Hybrid schedule, 3 days onsite.
Skill Requirements
- Internal Audit oversight experience – 10 years, 5 years in a supervisory role
- Healthcare care industry audit/compliance experience required
- Knowledge of Risk Management practices.
- Familiarity with Compliance regulations.
- Understanding of CPT codes, ICD-9/10 codes, and CMS Guidelines.
