Assistant IP Administrator – Tampa, FL | $60K–$79K
Are you detail-oriented and passionate about intellectual property? A leading national legal team is seeking an Assistant IP Administrator to join its growing IP practice group in Tampa, FL. This is an on-site role offering competitive pay and excellent benefits.
What You’ll Do
- Manage IP docketing for patents, trademarks, and copyrights.
- Prepare and file applications with USPTO and Copyright Office.
- Draft IP-related documents (assignments, powers of attorney, disclosure statements).
- Conduct trademark clearance searches and review reports.
- Support attorneys with IP deadlines and dispute proceedings (TTAB, PTAB, federal courts).
- Collaborate on international filings and maintain compliance with global IP protocols.
- Provide advanced administrative support for IP operations.
What We’re Looking For
- Education: High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Prior IP role in a law firm or corporate legal department required.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. IP laws; familiarity with international IP procedures a plus.
- Excellent organizational and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with IP docketing software preferred.
