What are the responsibilities and job description for the Information Technology Manager position at LHH?
We’re seeking a hands‑on IT Manager to lead and support day‑to‑day IT operations while partnering closely with the business to ensure systems, infrastructure, and processes are reliable, secure, and cost‑effective. This role blends technical execution with strategic oversight and financial accountability.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage the IT cost center budget, including software subscriptions, hardware, equipment, and contractor spend
- Drive cost‑conscious decision‑making through vendor reviews, contract management, and identification of cost‑saving opportunities
- Maintain and support IT infrastructure and operations, with a strong understanding of best practices and how to implement them effectively
- Support backup servers, disaster recovery planning, and business continuity initiatives
- Provide hands‑on, end‑user IT support, including hardware issues, printers, and general on‑the‑floor technical assistance
- Partner with business stakeholders to support operational needs and system enhancements
- Support cybersecurity initiatives, risk mitigation efforts, and security best practices (required)
- Assist with ERP systems; prior ERP implementation experience is a plus
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree required preferably in a related field
- Cybersecurity experience is a must
- Proven experience in IT infrastructure and operations, with a hands‑on approach
- Strong hardware expertise, including computers, printers, phones, and troubleshooting
- Cybersecurity experience, including risk awareness and mitigation
- Experience with disaster recovery and backup planning
- Strong financial and business acumen, including budget ownership, cost management, and P&L exposure
- Exposure to BI tools is a plus
