LHH is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join a small industrial company in Charlotte, NC! This is a full-time, direct hire position that plays a key role in managing HR operations and driving strategic initiatives across the organization. The HR Manager will oversee all core HR functions, ensure compliance, and foster a positive, high-performance culture. Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST (Fully onsite)
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute HR strategies aligned with business objectives for a growing industrial organization.
- Partner with leadership to support workforce planning, organizational development, and cultural initiatives.
- Lead change management efforts and champion diversity, equity, and inclusion programs.
- Design and manage onboarding, training, and career development programs tailored to a small workforce.
- Implement engagement and recognition initiatives to strengthen morale and retention.
- Collaborate with managers to identify skill gaps and create targeted learning solutions.
- Administer employee benefits programs (medical, dental, disability, 401K, etc.), including annual renewals and vendor coordination.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Oversee risk management processes, including workers’ compensation and corporate insurance.
- Supervise payroll processing and timekeeping to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Maintain HRIS data integrity and generate reports for leadership.
- Monitor and enforce compliance with OSHA and other regulatory reporting requirements.
- Serve as a trusted advisor for employee relations matters, providing guidance and resolution strategies.
- Lead onboarding and orientation programs for new hires.
- Support recruitment efforts by managing job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
- 5 years of progressive HR experience
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment law, and HRIS systems.
- Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment highly preferred.
- Exceptional communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HR technology platforms.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, hands-on environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Salary : $75,000 - $80,000
