Our client is seeking a knowledgeable and collaborative HR Manager to support leaders and employees across a multi-site organization. This role serves as a trusted advisor on employee relations, performance management, workplace investigations, compliance, and HR best practices. The ideal candidate is confident handling sensitive employee matters while balancing business needs with a positive employee experience.
What You'll Do
- Partner with managers and leaders on a wide range of employee relations matters, including performance management, conflict resolution, coaching, and workplace concerns.
- Provide guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employment best practices to ensure consistent and compliant decision-making.
- Conduct workplace investigations, gather facts, document findings, and recommend appropriate resolutions.
- Support leaders with employee performance issues, corrective actions, performance improvement plans, and separation processes.
- Advise on federal, state, and local employment law compliance.
- Assist with accommodations, leave administration, and other employee support programs.
- Partner with leaders to address workplace culture, team effectiveness, and employee engagement initiatives.
- Develop and deliver manager training programs on key HR topics and leadership best practices.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and documentation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional HR teams on employee lifecycle activities and strategic initiatives.
- Support unemployment claims, employment verifications, and other HR operational responsibilities as needed.
What We're Looking For
- 3 years of progressive Human Resources experience, with a strong emphasis on employee relations.
- Experience conducting workplace investigations and managing sensitive employee matters.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance requirements.
- Proven ability to coach and influence managers at multiple levels of the organization.
- Excellent communication, documentation, conflict resolution, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience supporting multi-location or decentralized workforces is a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- SHRM or HRCI certification is a plus.
