We are looking for a Food Safety Technician to join our team in Malvern, PA. This position is ideal for someone passionate about maintaining high standards of food safety and quality. You’ll play a critical role in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine food safety inspections and audits.
- Monitor sanitation practices and ensure compliance with FDA, USDA, and company standards.
- Collect and analyze samples for microbiological and chemical testing.
- Document findings and maintain accurate records of inspections and corrective actions.
- Assist in training staff on food safety protocols and best practices.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to food safety and quality assurance.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Food Science or related field preferred.
- Knowledge of food safety regulations (HACCP, GMP, FSMA).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Previous experience in food safety or quality assurance is a plus.
