Financial Reporting Accountant
Location: Portland, OR (Hybrid – 3 days per week in office)
Compensation: $85,000–$95,000 base salary 10-15% target bonus
Travel: Approximately 10–15%
A growing organization is adding an Accountant, Financial Reporting to support expanding reporting requirements and continued business growth. This role offers hands-on exposure to financial reporting, consolidations, intercompany accounting, external audits, and process improvement initiatives within a multi-entity environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for an accountant looking to broaden their technical accounting and reporting experience while working closely with finance leadership in a fast-paced, evolving organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with quarterly and annual financial statement preparation and reporting.
- Prepare intercompany journal entries, reconciliations, and related accounting activities.
- Participate in month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
- Support external audits, including audit requests and deliverables.
- Contribute to process improvements, automation initiatives, and system enhancements.
- Assist with special projects and ad hoc accounting analyses.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2-5 years of accounting experience; public accounting experience or a blend of public and industry experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and financial statement preparation.
- Experience with multi-entity accounting, intercompany transactions, and ERP systems.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- CPA designation preferred.
- Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across teams.
