What are the responsibilities and job description for the Financial Director position at LHH?
I’m working on a Director of Finance opportunity with a growing healthcare-focused,, multi-entity organization.
This role will serve as a key financial partner to leadership, supporting both day-to-day financial operations and long-term strategic decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning across multiple entities
- Analyze financial and operational performance, including variance analysis and trend identification
- Partner with operational leadership to evaluate profitability, productivity, and key performance drivers
- Oversee month-end close related to revenue recognition, accruals, and reporting accuracy
- Prepare and present financial reporting packages to executive leadership
- Support business development efforts through pricing analysis, financial modeling, and RFP support
- Maintain and enhance internal controls, reporting processes, and overall financial infrastructure
Qualifications:
- 7–10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting
- Strong background in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Experience within healthcare, hospital systems, or healthcare services organizations strongly preferred
- Ability to translate financial data into actionable insights for non-finance stakeholders
- Advanced Excel skills and strong overall systems proficiency
