Financial Analyst | Fortune 500 Animal Health Leader
We’re looking for a Financial Analyst to join Clients’ Global Manufacturing & Supply (GMS) Finance team at Union City, CA manufacturing site. This contract‑to‑hire, onsite role is ideal for candidates with 3–5 years of manufacturing finance or cost accounting experience, strong SAP skills, and hands‑on exposure to plant cost analysis and month‑end close.
What You’ll Do:
- Own month‑end close activities including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
- Perform manufacturing variance analysis (MUV, PPV, volume, spending) and provide clear commentary
- Support budgeting and forecasting cycles, including product costing and cost driver analysis
- Generate and distribute SAP‑based financial reports for labor and material planning
- Partner with plant leadership to analyze cost trends and respond to operational inquiries
- Ensure SOX compliance and support audit readiness
- Conduct ad hoc cost analysis for new manufactured items and process improvements
What You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing finance or cost accounting
- Strong product costing and plant accounting expertise
- SAP proficiency (required)
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas)
- Strong analytical, communication, and cross‑functional collaboration skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment
📍 Location: Union City, CA (United States)
💵 Pay: $36 – $40/hour.
