Escrow Assistant β Real Estate Purchase/Sale TransactionsLHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking an experienced Escrow Assistant to join a dynamic escrow team supporting real estate purchase and sale transactions. The Escrow Assistant provides administrative and customer service support to the escrow department, ensuring smooth and accurate closing processes. This role focuses on Closing Disclosure (CD) preparation, loan document handling, scheduling notaries, and maintaining clear communication with all parties involved. The position typically operates in a Branch or office setting and may support a team or partner directly with an escrow officer. Primary transaction types include REO purchases, residential refinances, and assumptions.Location: Remote - Must Reside in PST or CST start times vary within 7:00 am thru 9:00 pmCompensation: $23.00 per hour MaxBenefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits, and a 401k plan. Available paid leave may include Paid Sick Leave, where required by law; any other paid leave required by Federal, State, or local law; and Holiday pay upon meeting eligibility criteria.Day-to-Day Responsibilities:Assist with all aspects of the escrow closing process, including opening orders and preparing closing statements.Input transaction details into escrow systems and ensure accuracy of documentation.Prepare and review loan documents, CDs, and other closing materials.Schedule notary appointments and coordinate signing logistics.Communicate requirements and updates to clients, lenders, and internal teams.Interpret agreements related to closing and prepare necessary transaction documents.Handle disbursement and follow-up for escrow transactions.Troubleshoot issues and recommend process improvements as needed.Essential Functions:Perform administrative duties to gather information and assist in escrow processing.Ensure compliance with company and client operating systems and procedures.Maintain professionalism and positive service attitude throughout all interactions.Qualifications:Experience: Minimum 2 years in an escrow-related role with a focus on real estate transactions.Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.Skills:Strong customer service and communication skills (verbal and written).Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.Detail-oriented with ability to manage multiple priorities.Knowledge of escrow processes and systems.Preferred Skills:Curative/Title Clearing experience.Ability to balance Closing Disclosures (CDs).Pay Details: $22.00 to $23.00 per hourSearch managed by: Jason Timothy Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
