LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a well-established electrical services organization experiencing active growth to hire two Electrical Account Managers within its Service Division.
This role is designed for professionals who want true ownership β combining client relationship management, estimating, and service project execution into one high-impact position. You will play a direct role in revenue growth, margin protection, and long-term client retention.
π Overview
This is not a siloed estimating or coordination role. The Electrical Account Manager owns accounts end-to-end β from pricing service work accurately to maintaining strong client relationships and ensuring projects are executed cleanly in the field.
Ideal for service estimators or service-focused PMs ready to step into a more client-facing, growth-oriented role.
π― Key Responsibilities
Account & Client Management
- Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial electrical service accounts
- Serve as the primary point of contact for ongoing and repeat clients
- Identify new service opportunities and strengthen long-term relationships
Estimating & Preconstruction
- Estimate small-to-mid sized electrical service projects from start to finish
- Perform detailed takeoffs using estimating software (Accubid or similar preferred)
- Review plans, specifications, and RFPs to determine accurate pricing and risk
Proposal Development (Critical)
- Prepare clear, professional, client-ready proposals that include:
- Defined scope of work
- Inclusions and exclusions
- Assumptions and risk considerations
- Ensure pricing is aligned with execution and margin objectives
Project Coordination & Support
- Coordinate with field teams, vendors, and suppliers
- Track materials, schedules, and service progress
- Review submittals and shop drawings for accuracy and compliance
π§ Ideal Background
- 5 years in electrical construction, estimating, or service project management
- Strong understanding of electrical systems, cost drivers, and field execution
- Proven experience pricing and managing service-driven electrical work
- Proficiency with estimating platforms and Microsoft Office
- Strong written communication skills (proposal writing is essential)
- Comfortable working independently while collaborating across teams
Nice to Have
- Journeyman or Master Electrician license
- Prior experience managing client accounts
- Background in commercial electrical service or maintenance contracting
