We are seeking a strategic Director of Procurement to drive excellence across purchasing, scheduling, and planning operations in a food manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Spearhead the development and execution of procurement strategies for ingredients, packaging, and commodities.
- Lead supplier selection, performance management, and long-term relationship building.
- Negotiate contracts to secure favorable terms, pricing, and risk mitigation.
- Drive process improvements and ERP technology adoption to enhance departmental efficiency.
- Monitor market trends, conduct risk assessments, and implement best practices for inventory management.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement aligns with organizational objectives.
- Champion ethical sourcing and sustainability initiatives.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree in supply chain management or a related field. MBA is preferred.
- Proven leadership experience in Procurement or Supply Chain within a food manufacturing environment.
- Demonstrated success in contract negotiation, supplier management, and cost optimization.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills, with a track record of process innovation.
- Experience with commodities, ingredients, and packaging materials (films, cartons, corrugated, etc.).
- Hands-on, proactive leadership style and a passion for driving results in a dynamic setting.
Compensation Range: $120,000-$160,000 15% Bonus
