LHH is seeking a Data Analyst for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with a manufacturing client located in Indianapolis, IN. Compensation is commensurate to experience and ranges between $60,000-70,000 annually and includes a strong benefits package that includes medical coverage, generous PTO, and a 401K with company match.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
• Collect, analyze, and interpret business data to uncover trends and support strategic decision-making
• Review and validate monthly operational and financial datasets, including sales performance, customer activity, and rebate programs
• Manage and audit commission-related data, ensuring accurate calculations and proper alignment with established compensation structures
• Develop and distribute recurring and ad hoc analytical reports for leadership and cross-functional teams
• Maintain accurate customer and transactional data within ERP and internal systems
• Support sales and operations teams by monitoring activity and helping align data with business objectives
• Utilize historical data to build projections and models related to revenue and commission forecasting
• Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and enhance data workflows
• Assist with territory alignment analysis and support adjustments tied to organizational changes
• Investigate and resolve discrepancies across multiple data sources
• Partner with finance, sales, and IT teams to ensure data integrity and consistency
• Contribute to continuous improvement efforts by recommending process enhancements
• Ensure accuracy and reliability of all data outputs and reporting tools
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s Degree in Data Analytics, Business, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field is required
• 2 years of experience in data analysis, business analytics, or a related function preferred
• Experience working with commission data, financial reporting, or large datasets is highly desirable
• Hands-on experience with ERP and/or CRM platforms required
• Proficiency in Excel is required; experience with Power BI or similar visualization tools preferred
• Strong ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights
• High attention to detail with a strong focus on data accuracy and validation
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment
• Demonstrated analytical thinking, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills
