What are the responsibilities and job description for the Controller position at LHH?
Seeking an experienced Controller to manage financial operations for multiple affiliated companies. This role partners with leadership and corporate teams to ensure accurate reporting, budgeting, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee all accounting functions: A/R, A/P, GL, billing, inventory, and revenue recognition.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Maintain internal controls and ensure compliance with policies.
- Manage ERP system processes and data accuracy.
- Support audits and respond to inquiries.
- Analyze financial performance, variances, and trends; provide recommendations.
- Build short- and long-term forecasts based on backlog and pipeline.
- Assist with modeling and profitability analysis for large projects.
- Perform ad hoc financial analysis as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to a positive culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 7 years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
- ERP experience preferred.
Compensation & Benefits
- Competitive salary: $110K–$130K (based on experience).
