About the Opportunity
Our client, a rapidly growing and highly acquisitive organization, is seeking an experienced Controller to lead accounting operations across a complex, multi-entity environment. This is a highly visible leadership role that will oversee all core accounting functions while partnering with executive leadership to support continued growth, process improvement, and strategic initiatives.

What You'll Be Doing
- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes and ensure timely, GAAP-compliant financial reporting.
- Oversee all core accounting functions, including: General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Inventory Accounting, Reconciliations, Internal Controls & Compliance
- Direct and develop accounting teams, fostering accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Maintain and strengthen internal controls, accounting policies, and financial reporting processes.
- Lead external audit activities and serve as the primary liaison with independent auditors.
- Manage technical accounting matters, including ASC 842 lease accounting.
- Support M&A activity, including purchase accounting, financial due diligence, and post-acquisition integration efforts.
- Drive ERP and financial systems implementations, process improvements, and operational efficiencies.
- Partner cross-functionally to enhance reporting capabilities and business performance.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- CPA strongly preferred.
- 10 years of progressive accounting experience.
- 5 years in a Controller or senior accounting leadership role.
- Strong experience managing full-cycle accounting operations within multi-entity organizations.
- Experience leading external audits and maintaining GAAP compliance.
- Deep knowledge of ASC 842 lease accounting.
- Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing accounting teams.
- Experience supporting ERP implementations, system conversions, or finance transformation initiatives.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and process improvement skills.
