Controller - Carrollton - On-Site (180k-200k + Bonus)

LHH is seeking a Corporate Controller for a rapidly growing, multi-location organization in the manufacturing and retail space. This high-impact leadership role will oversee accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls while helping scale the finance function in preparation for significant future growth. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting expertise, leadership experience, and the ability to build processes in a dynamic, evolving environment.

Job Responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting
• Review financial statements, reconciliations, and reporting packages for leadership
• Oversee corporate accounting operations including A/P, A/R, payroll, fixed assets, and inventory
• Manage and develop accounting staff, establishing performance expectations and processes
• Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
• Implement and maintain internal controls aligned with GAAP and SOX readiness
• Coordinate audits and work with external advisors on tax and compliance matters
• Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide actionable insights
• Drive process improvements, system enhancements, and data integrity initiatives

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; MBA preferred
• CPA or CMA required
• 8 years of progressive accounting experience, including team leadership
• Experience in multi-location or complex operational environments preferred
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and internal controls
• Proven ability to improve processes and lead in a fast-paced environment
• Advanced Excel and accounting systems proficiency
• Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
